The Central Washington Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) ended its lease at 5 S Wenatchee Avenue, Suite 300 effective February 1, 2019.  The group’s new location at 1737 N Wenatchee Ave, Suite B is located in Wenatchee Workspace, a recently opened co-working startup operated by J. Michael Walker.
“We think this is going to be great partnership because it puts us right where fledgling businesses will be working and growing,” said Ken Mattson, Chapter Chair at Central Washington SCORE. “It makes us more visible to the community.”
The move also provides access to a larger space for SCORE to hold seminars and keynote speaker presentations while still providing a desk and conference room to meet with business counseling clients.  At least three workshop classes and speaker presentation are planned per quarter. The first seminar/workshop of 2019 will be:  BOOKKING AND TAX ACCOUNTING, “emphasis for contractor businesses”, provided by Ceinwyn Rudnick of Veritas Accounting Solutions. The presentation will be held on Friday morning, 22 March 2019 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM. Cost is $10.00 donation suggested, refreshments provided .... and signup is available at: score663office@gmail.com  Information on upcoming classes and speakers can be found at FB Central Washington Score on the Wenatchee Chamber of Commerce website: www.wenatchee.org calendar and on the Wenatchee Workspace www.wenatcheeworkspace.com bookings.
“I am very excited SCORE has chosen Wenatchee WorkSpace as a permanent home. I see this as a considerable opportunity to benefit our CoWorking community. The mentorship programs they provide draw from an extremely diverse pool of professionals skilled in all aspects of business. A CoWorking space seems like it should be their natural habitat.”
