The Chelan-Douglas Transportation Council and the Regional Bicycle Advisory Committee is pleased to announce the 2017-2018 update of the Greater Wenatchee Bicycle Master Plan. The first Greater Wenatchee BMP was developed from 2011-2013 and adopted in May 2013.
The 5-year update will look at what has been accomplished since the plan was adopted and it will create a new 5-year list of priorities for projects and programs.
 
Public participation in the planning process is an important part of the update. The new www.bikewenatcheevalley.org website will include information on the update and provide opportunities for residents and employees of the region to provide input during the planning process. Individuals who live or work in the Wenatchee Valley area are encouraged to take the plan update survey online (available in English and Spanish) before September 2017. Public meeting dates will be announced in the late fall and the plan will be complete by spring of 2018.
 
The plan update will be guided by local agencies and the Regional Bicycle Advisory Committee. The RBAC is looking for new members to serve as citizen members of Chelan and Douglas counties, and also for organizational reps from local businesses and agencies.
