Positive Life Radio’s annual Days of Compassion sponsors 123 children

Positive Life Radio is happy to announce that, as of today, 123 children were sponsored this year during their annual Days of Compassion.
 
The focus of this year’s event was to sponsor 104 children at two projects in El Salvador. This is an area overwhelmed by poverty, disease, and unemployment. Through the work of Compassion International, children who find sponsors are given the tools and education to combat poverty and succeed at their dreams.
 
“Our listeners continue to amaze me with their compassion and support during this annual Hands and Heart event,” says Positive Life Radio Acting Network General Manager, Sali Miller. “Our listeners’ generous support will transform the lives of children and their families not only in these two projects, but all of El Salvador.”
 
The Positive Life Radio team was joined by representatives from Compassion International who shared stories about children whose lives had been changed by sponsorship. The goal of having 104 children in two projects was well surpassed because of the generosity of many listeners.
 
“What the PLR staff and radio listeners did was amazing, sponsoring over a hundred children in two days during the Days of Compassion campaign,” said Lee Geysbeek, Radio Marketing Director Compassion International USA. “I can only imagine what it is going to be like when the waiting children hear that every child has a loving sponsor. It's going to be huge!”
