Six Washington Companies Selected To Compete For $100,000 Investment Award Next Month In Wenatchee

Six Washington State companies have been selected as the finalists to compete for a $100,000+ investment award during the Flywheel Investment Conference on April 18 in downtown Wenatchee. The 2019 Conference is directed by the non-profit GWATA and is presented by Confluence Health, Microsoft, Moss Adams, and Ogden Murphy Wallace. The six finalists for the 2019 Flywheel Investment Conference are:
 

  • Beta Hatch; based in Cashmere, WA - A company that industrializes insect production for animal feed to create more sustainable and predictable nutrients for poultry and aquaculture, including proprietary breeding stock and genomic tools, trade secret processes to grow insects more efficiently and the equipment and know-how to produce protein at 5,000x the acre yield of soy. Primary Industry: Biotechnology
  • Gestalt Diagnostics; based in Spokane, WA -  A company that uses a digital pathology platform to provide software solutions that transform laboratories from cost and labor intensive, manual processes to faster, more efficient, and more accurate automated processes. Primary Industry: Healthcare Services
  • Lisi Global, Inc.; based in Richland, WA - A company that is developing breakthrough technology to mitigate the costly impact of nematode root pests (roundworms) and fungal soil pathogens in high-value crops and plantings, replacing current solutions that use highly toxic chemicals. Primary Industry: Agriculture
  • NODE ECO, Inc.; based in Seattle, WA - A company that is turning home construction into home assembly by combining technology and hardware to create a proprietary plug and play assembly system for non-specialized workers, delivering zero emission, non-toxic homes for all income levels. Primary Industry: Construction
 
  • Prescryptive Health, Inc.; based in Redmond, WA - A company that transforms the traditional pharmacy benefit management model into a cost-effective “software as a service” market platform using a modern cloud-based commerce platform that leverages the transformative capabilities of blockchain technology. Primary Industry: Healthcare Services

  • Vita Inclinata Technologies; based in Seattle, WA - A company that is developing critical technology for deadly sling load and rescue operations, making helicopter operations more effective, efficient and safer than current day operations. Primary Industry: Aerospace
 
At the Conference, each company will pitch to a panel of investors. The CEOs will be put to the test as they answer questions about their business plan, marketing strategies, and plans to grow their companies. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for the company they want to win the $5,000 Audience Favorite Award. One company will receive the $100,000+ investment offer during the Conference’s premiere After Party. In addition, the winning company will receive an exclusive highlight video produced by North 40 Productions.
