13th Annual Spelling Bee Fundraiser

Work with a hive (table) of eight to spell words correctly and advance in a spelling competition for adults, after an evening of dinner with wine. Also included are a silent auction, live auction, and dessert auction supporting free English classes at the Literacy Council of Chelan and Douglas Counties.

An estimated 10,500 adults in our region lack English fluency. The Literacy Council provides free, small-group classes in English as a second language, basic reading and writing, and citizenship to motivated adults in our community.
