An Evening with Robin Benway
Hear award winning author, Robin Benway, speak about her novel Far from the Tree. Q&A and book signing to follow. This event is free and open to the public. North Central Regional Library (NCRL) presents NCRL Reads every year featuring a fall YA author residency and a spring author program for the whole community. This fall, NCRL is hosting Robin Benway, author of the 2017 National Book Award winning novel, Far from the Tree, for a community event that is free and open to the public, for all ages. Join us at the NCRL Administrative Building (16 N. Columbia Street) on Thursday, October 24 at 6:30PM for this event. Robin Benway will present about her novel followed by a Q&A and book signing. Learn more at www.ncrl.org/ncrlreads. "Benway writes with remarkable control and has the rare talent of almost vanishing as an author as she inhabits each character's perspective. Grace, Maya, and Joaquin leap off the page as living, breathing teenagers, individual down to their fingerprints. The novel is also a brilliant exercise in empathy." -The New York Times Through NCRL Reads, our goal is to connect our communities through reading a book together that sparks conversations, curiosity, and learning.
