Be Local
In the month of November, The Wenatchee World and Wenatchee Valley Business World are honoring local businesses and civc leaders who make our valley a great place to live.
With so much of our lives moving online, we want to remind everyone of the important contributions being made by entrepreneurs and business owners who choose to provide goods and services in the community.
When I say "local business," I mean any business that has a presence here in our valley.
For it is these businesses and institutions who provide jobs, support local civic causes and contribute in so many other ways to the vibrancy of our valley.
We are all in this together and if we think about it, we can create a virtuous circle of mutual support that help our communities thrive.
Where we buy goods and services matters. A good rule of thumb is to spend as much in local businesses as possible. You can't find everything you need locally, but you would be surprised how much can be acquired locally.
We all love this valley, so let's do our utmost to help our communities thrive. We are using the term "Be Local" to reflect the important of investing as close to home as possible.
Look for stories in the Wenatchee Valley Business World and in The Wenatchee World during the month as celebrate what it means to "Be Local."
