Run with the Cops 5K for Special Olympics Washington
Do you have what it takes to run with the cops? Local law enforcement agencies invite
participants of all abilities to find out at the Run with the Cops 5K for Special Olympics Washington in East Wenatchee. The family friendly event kicks off a series of 5Ks around the state this summer and is a key fundraiser for the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) campaign for Special Olympics Washington, which raises funds and awareness for athletes with intellectual disabilities. There is a 5K run/walk for adults and a 2K run/walk for children.
Funds raised will benefit more than 19,000 Special Olympics athletes across the state. In 2018, through the support of sponsors and more than 400 participants the Run with the Cops event series raised more than $30,000 for Special Olympics Washington.
