Science on Tap! returns after taking a summer hiatus. The coming lineup is impressive with a new speaker each month on wildlife and natural sciences topics, as well as refreshing –being held at a different Wenatchee Valley brewery each time. Come out to Badger Mountain Brewing in Wenatchee on Thursday, September 26th from 6-7pm and hear Von Pope, Senior Wildlife Biologist for Chelan County PUD, talk about mule deer winter habitat in the Wenatchee Foothills. Learn about the monitoring of mule deer populations in the Valley, and find answers to questions like, How many deer are in this area and Why are the Sage Hills and other recreation areas closed during the winter? That evening, there will be a raffle of WRI and Badger Mountain Brewery goods! All proceeds help keep WRI programming continue and grow. All ages welcome.
