    The primary function of this position is to offer support to the sales team in order to increase overall sales capacity. The best fit for this role is someone who is self-motivated, pays high attention to detail, highly organized, and works well in a collaborative setting.
    Primary Job Functions & Activities:
    •Sales Related:
    oReceive inbound calls in an effort to quote auto, home, and life insurance, then handing off to the sales team to close.
    oAssist sales team with quoting personal & commercial lines insurance
    oMaintain product knowledge for all lines of business and products written
    oCreate brokerage quotes & applications, especially those with Foremost, Vacant Express, and American Modern
    oBinding polices when support is needed
    oWalk in new business support
    •Service Related: While the primary role is sales support, sales SSP will assist with a portion of service-related work.
    oAssist with incoming phone calls
    oAgency billing expert
    oFirst on phones and call delegation

    Required Education & Experience
    •High School Diploma
    •Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
    •A successful candidate must obtain property & casualty insurance licenses within the agreed time of hiring offer
    Potential Career Paths: There are three potential career paths associated with this position if the performance of the applicant merits progression over time:
    1.Commercial/Farm Sales Support: This person supports Jake in preparing commercial sales proposals, quoting, gathering necessary information needed, and putting together applications
    2.Sales Specialist: This person will spend their day prospecting and creating opportunities to drive new business sales.
    3.Personal Lines Manager: This person will manage the existing personal lines accounts. This includes the retention program, claims, past-due accounts, and lienholder issues and requests.
